TGA Mobility Experiences Positive OT (Occupational Therapy) Show Debut

4th December, 2017

TGA, an established supplier of quality mobility products, has successfully exhibited its StrongBack wheelchairs, WHILL powerchair, wheelchair powerpacks and folding mobility scooters at The OT Show 2017 (stand C46, 22-23 November, NEC).

Debuting at this year’s show, TGA provided invaluable advice and guidance regarding its quality product range. This was a first for The OT Show as attendees were able to discover first-hand why trusted TGA wheelchairs, powerchairs, powerpacks and scooters are the assured choice for client satisfaction. Senior TGA advisors were able to suggest solutions to maximise client independence and well-being, whilst reiterating TGA’s proven track record of appropriate product provision.

The TGA stand welcomed a healthy number of public and private sector OTs along with representatives from Wheelchair Services. All these professionals were keen to understand why the TGA name is synonymous with quality and how its respected team works successfully with OTs. There was equal interest across all the TGA products on display as each model offers unique merits relative to individual needs.

Eric Cooper, TGA Wheelchair Specialist comments: “I felt the OT Show was well attended this year and the TGA stand proved a popular feature. My fellow product advisors and I were able to meet many new and existing contacts who all discovered the latest advantages of prescribing TGA products. We demonstrated the world-leading manoeuvrability of our WHILL powerchair on numerous occasions as its contemporary styling caught the eye of many visitors. The award-winning self-propel and attendant-controlled StrongBack wheelchairs were a regular topic of conversation especially as they can be combined perfectly with our powerpack range. OTs were able to see and experience the ergonomic benefits of StrongBacks and powerpacks as there is far less risk of musculoskeletal injury for users and carers.”

Eric adds: “Finally the compact ‘car boot’ mobility scooters we displayed, namely the dismantle-able Zest Plus and folding Minimo Plus offered a new dimension at The OT Show. OTs were able to appreciate how our proven mobility scooters provide a better quality of life and help clients improve their occupational performance. With over 30 years of expertise in this sector and with a family-run, caring ethos, we believe TGA is the informed choice for OTs. Overall the OT Show was a rewarding experience for both attendees and TGA and it was a pleasure to feel a buzz again at the NEC.”
