Suffolk based TGA will be celebrating the launch of its new safety assessment programme with a free open day Thursday 12 May 12-3pm, offering the chance for scooter owners to learn valuable tips in driving safely from mobility specialists and leading organisations which include Suffolk Police, Age UK, Optua, Dial, Gateopener and The Stroke Association.
This free event is available to everyone who already owns a mobility scooter or is considering purchasing one. TGA is a leading mobility specialist with a trusted 25-year heritage for supplying quality and reliable scooters nationwide and Daniel Stone, Managing Director, regards the safety of less able individuals as absolutely paramount. He explains: 'TGA is a caring, ethical business who leads in the provision of quality scooters that are personally specified to meet individual needs which has led to the launch of our new assessment programme. This structured process carried out by qualified TGA mobility consultants here at our Sudbury showrooms, ensures that before any scooter is purchased, a full understanding of individuals' needs is achieved so that independence and safety are maximised. I look forward to welcoming end users from all over the region to this special event along with influential figures from local organisations who provide key support to people living with restricted mobility."
Mobility scooter safety continues to be topical within the press and has been further highlighted by the recent Government review into the possible need for driving tests along with Norfolk Police's 'Scoot safe' initiative. This open day will provide the opportunity to drive around a test track, discuss all mobility scooter safety issues with leading experts and the Police, a free scooter safety check, see the recently launched new TGA Breeze 3 & 4 and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Members of the general public can attend with their own mobility scooter or if they prefer, they can test one of the latest TGA models around the fun, yet informative test track.
