On Stand B50 at Naidex 2010 (NEC, 20th-22nd April), TGA Electric Leisure Limited successfully launched 4 new products which attracted interest from an impressive number of trade and consumer visitors and the celebrity model Shannon Murray.
With the privilege of opening Naidex this year, Shannon Murray, the wheelchair using celebrity famed for appearances on Channel 4's 'How to Look Good Naked', visited the TGA stand and discussed the 4 new products on show with National Sales Manager Tim Ross. Tim guided Shannon around the redesigned TGA stand pointing out all the key features of the new Breeze Midi 3 and 4, wheelchair Powerpack and enhanced Eclipse car boot scooter. Shannon also took great interest in the cutting edge Vita and the wheelchair lever-drive propulsion system - NuDrive. Tim Ross explained, "Shannon was very impressed with the whole TGA range in terms of build quality and looks. She was unaware that mobility scooters with such modern styling were available however as she uses a wheelchair, NuDrive was of particular interest. She requested further information on NuDrive from TGA and hence, I will now be in contact with Shannon personally to discuss whether this outstanding wheelchair propulsion system can make her life a little easier."
TGA took the decision this year to man the Naidex stand with extra staff who were all kept busy for the 3 days, especially on the middle day. Also on the middle day, TGA A-Class dealers were invited to stand B50 for an exclusive party celebrating the 4-way product launch.
Even though many international visitors unfortunately could not attend Naidex this year due to the aviation crisis, a representative from one of TGA's suppliers, Shachar Hillel - Afikim's Marketing Manager, managed to fly in from Israel. Shachar commented, "The 4-way Naidex product launch promised to be so exciting and as Afikim is firmly committed to TGA, I simply could not miss this event. My flight was cancelled on Tuesday however I was called by my airline on Wednesday at 2am to be informed there was a plane available at 6am. I was lucky enough to get to the airport just in time to catch one of the first flights out of Ben Gurion airport.
Following this visit, I feel confident that working with TGA we will still be one of the market leaders here in the UK and will continue to be at the forefront of product innovation." Tim Ross concluded, "The fact that Shachar managed to meet us, bearing in mind all the current travel chaos, reflects Afikim's commitment to TGA. We continue to treat our special business relationship with the esteem it deserves."
