Members from TGA completed the Town and Gown Cambridge 10K race on 20th Oct 2019 in support of Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Team TGA consisted of a seven-strong group which included management and staff who put in weeks of training in the lead-up to the event.
“It’s great to get out and about to improve your fitness especially when you can raise money for charity at the same time,” TGA’s Managing Director, Daniel Stone, said. “It was a rewarding experience and great fun for all.”
Muscular Dystrophy is a neurological condition that affects approximately 70,000 people in the UK which results in reduced strength and mobility through muscular degeneration. TGA scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs help individuals with conditions such as this to benefit from greater independence, accessibility and social inclusion.
