Runners From Sudbury's TGA Mobility Raise Over 500 For Success After Stroke

14th July, 2015

Several employees from TGA, the UK's leading mobility scooter and product specialist based in Sudbury, have raised over 500 for the charity Success After Stroke by running the Sudbury 5 &10k.

The charity run took place on Sunday 12th July 2015 across the Auberies estate in Suffolk and attracted over a hundred entrants. The TGA team consisted of a variety of runners and non-runners who all tackled the hilly off-road 5k course. With grit and determination several PBs were achieved so that sponsorship was maximised to help Success After Stroke (SAS). SAS is a Suffolk-based charity with dedicated volunteers and therapists that provide pro-active support for people affected by Stroke. The organisation?s invaluable work encourages rehabilitation, independence and confidence.

TGA had previously supported SAS by raising donations during its Sudbury showroom sales and by entering the Sudbury Fun Run. This latest sponsorship further underlines TGA's commitment to helping people living with the affects of Stroke. Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director, completed this latest race and commented: "All of us from TGA Mobility have had such fun completing the Sudbury 5k and it is great to know our sponsorship money is going to such a worthwhile cause. This charity delivers an invaluable service locally and the whole Success After Stroke team should be congratulated for their continued commitment. TGA will continue to support the charity in the future as we are 100 dedicated to helping people living with Stroke regain independence through the provision of quality and reliable mobility products."
