Mayor To Open Farnham's Flagship New Tga Living Mobility Showroom With Support Of Several Charities

14th May, 2018

Representing the latest in accessible design, the new ‘TGA Living’ mobility and healthcare showroom will be officially opened by the Mayor of Farnham on 22nd May, so locals can benefit from greater access to independent living solutions.

PRESS INVITATION: All reporters and photographers are welcome to visit the new TGA Living showroom, formerly Hexagon Healthcare, 174 Farnborough Road, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 9AX.

Official opening by Councillor Mike Hodge at 10:30am, 22nd May 2018.

This re-designed mobility showroom is managed by TGA Mobility – a nationwide specialist in mobility scooters, hence the rebrand from Hexagon Healthcare. TGA has been a proven specialist in quality mobility products since 1985 and continues to be highly regarded across the UK. This trusted name will now be visible in Surrey along with a greater range of products and services for independent living. TGA Living provides a comprehensive range of quality products ranging from mobility scooters, stair lifts, wheelchairs and walkers to riser recliner chairs and aids for daily living.

TGA is a caring customer-focused business that prides itself on an ethical and fair service – the new TGA Living store will now strengthen this commitment to locals living in and around Surrey and Hampshire. TGA believes that talking face-to-face with customers is so important so the right advice can be given and the right products supplied. This is why, despite many high street stores closing, TGA has invested in its Surrey store so locals can touch, test and compare a greater range of products – not possible when buying on the internet.

To celebrate the opening of TGA Living, attendees at the launch event will have the opportunity to win a TGA Zest mobility scooter worth £1895. There will also be 25% off all new products within the store from 22nd – 24th May along with a range of Approved Used mobility scooters at special prices.

The atmosphere at the event promises to be lively and exciting as this Farnham-based business is also celebrating 10 years of success. There will be a homemade cake sale to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK and a selection of free refreshments will be available. The Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Mike Hodge, will be officially opening the new-look store and will be joined by several leading charities and companies who wish to support TGA including Motability. TGA Living is an approved Motability dealer so locals can lease quality TGA mobility scooters through this popularscheme. AutoChair will be demonstrating their latest range of scooter car boot hoists and a selection of adapted Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles will be on show. There will also be representatives from the Alzheimer's Society, Right at Home, Driving Miss Daisy and Baker Law Solicitors.

Daniel Stone TGA Managing Director comments: ‘The opening of our rebranded and re-modelled showroom is all about being more customer-centric. Our team and original store was welcoming and easy to access however here at TGA we are always looking to enhance service even further. This is why we have improved our front door access along with lighting, showroom layout and decor – resulting in a better customer experience, irrespective of ability. This coincides with our new status as a Dementia friendly business that carefully considers showroom design in accordance with recommendations from the Alzheimer’s Society. From an overall reassurance point of view, our Farnham showroom now displays the TGA name which is synonymous with outstanding service and customer satisfaction across the UK. This will give all locals, living with restricted mobility, the confidence to venture outdoors or enjoy greater independence at home through ownership of quality, dependable products.”
