Barbara Broome, 75 from Elstead, has won a mobility scooter free prize draw in connection with the
relaunch of Farnham’s TGA Living showroom.
Barbara attended the opening of TGA Living in May as she was reviewing possible solutions for her walking difficulties. Barbara, a retired school secretary and WI member, was given the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a Zest mobility scooter worth £1895. She posted an entry and won to her great delight: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this TGA Living competition, I can’t believe it! My Zest is perfect as it goes in the car and means I do not need to hire a scooter anymore when we go out for the day or on holiday.”
TGA Living, formerly Hexagon Healthcare, has been based on the Farnborough Road for over 10 years and provides a range of quality assistive products including mobility scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, adjustable chairs, bath lifts and aids for daily living. Part of the family-run TGA business which supplies scooters nationwide, TGA Living is committed to exceptional customer service and quality products. Its caring and diligent approach is now enhanced by a remodelled, fully accessible showroom that is spacious and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. This new-look showroom was officially opened by the Mayor of Farnham, Councillor David Attfield alongside several supporting charities including Motability and Parkinson’s UK.
Barbara adds: “Roseanne (Showroom Manager) is absolutely delightful and so helpful, she obviously genuinely cares about her customers. We had previously bought a walker from her so decided to pop along to the showroom re-launch. While we were there she chatted to me and listened intently to my personal mobility needs. Well, can you believe it, I ended up winning my ideal scooter! My husband and I are already planning to take it to various National Trust places and on trips to Bognor and Sidmouth. By visiting the TGA Living showroom you are able to sit on scooters and try them, far better than buying online.”
